Hello Mr Breeze,

Rogaine is a topical solution used for hereditary hair loss. It is the brand name for minoxidil. Originally it could be purchased only by prescription, but soon became an over-the-counter topical solution available in two strengths: regular, which is 2 percent minoxidil, and extra-strength, which is 5 percent minoxidil.

There are a variety of things you can do, supplements you can try, and relaxation techniques you can use. I have an amazing head of hair but, after accutane it has shown signs of change. Its genetic and a side effect of meds. If you have the mpb gene (check your family history as in your dad, grandpa, great grandpa on both sides). I use zinc. It helps. I meditate, practice self love, and acceptance. I used hypnosis and other confident building exercises. Checkout hairloss talk, do positive affirmations, and seek role models. I used accutane due to bad skin ever since puberty. Organic, holistic nutrition, natural paths, and alternatives failed. Accutane fixed one thing but created alternative side effects. I took role models like brad pitt or Seal, people with bad skin yet considered attractive still. Hairloss effects like receeding progressed. Possible thinning on sides or near crown. No bald spots. I love my hair and life. I salute good health everyday. Guys like Dwayne Johnson, Steve Austin, Goldberg, all have high dht (testosterone), more power, strength, and yet hairloss is a side effect. Good and bad. Life and death. Ying and yang. Embrace it brother.

Unfortunately, there is little holistic ways of improving it. Remove hair products like gel, wax or worse, glue. Stop using shampoo. Seriously, if you look over the products, the ingredients, its screaming hairloss for men. I could be mistaken but, men are closely linked to hairloss then women. mpb goes to men for some reason more then women but, the effects are so much worse on women.

harmon71 checkout hairlosstalk.com but, I warn you, the forum is full of negative men who do not pull. I used it before cause of Accutane hairloss. My hair is not perfect but, it is not bad either. Slightly recede. I had shedding after Accutane use. I bought some natural shampoo. I try to clean up my diet as best I can. If your dad has hair at fifty, you should be fine.

If you must, shave it, and move on. The guy who introduced me to the game by neil strauss is bald. He gets such hot women but, he is pretty good looking and his head shape suits it. Some guys are unlucky as hairloss gets them in their teens. Move on. Its like having a small dick. Its shitty. Its embarrassing. Some women will tease or not like it but, life goes on.

Just today I was talking with a friend and he showed me a picture of his friend who just did a hair transplant.

The results are pretty cool, it kind of took at least 10 years from a guy who was 30, looking like he was 40.

I think the procedure is simple, but probably costly - but as I've saw, extremely effective.

best advice you'll get is this: don't take any advice you see on internet. either this ones here or in anywhere else.
contact a dermatologist. you know, the ones who actually know and study the stuff and know what to do. you are just wasting your time here.

search hairlosstalk for a forum for knowledgeable info. The problem is that, most of these guys are an inch away from losing it, and offing themselves. Its a cess pool forever alone threads when discussing women in there. It is unfortunate but guys like Jude Law who is attractive looks funny looking without hair.

Hair loss disease occurs when we eat unhealthy diet and many other common reasons that are leading to this hair loss problem.Using cheap hair care products gives bad impact on our hair. The best solution for this problem is eating green vegetables diet, regular exercise, massage hair with coconut oil etc.

There are great points on nutrition here and how it can help but if you want to go the medicated option something that was mentioned briefly here but not really spoken about is Finasteride which can be sold as Propecia 1mg or Proscar 5mg. This is medicine so definitely look up the side effects before you ask your doctor to write you up a script. I have personally been using it since I was 18 and am now 31 and I have had zero side effects but I have known one guy that said he got erectile problems. You also want to keep it away from pregnant women as they say it can cause problems with a developing male baby.
Its a medicine that was originally created to treat prostate cancer as DHT which is a conversion of testosterone causes the cancer but it also builds up in our scalps causing hair loss. This also means that guys that go bald can have a higher chance of developing prostate cancer so all you bro's that are losing your hair please keep that in mind and get yourselves check in your mid to later years.
That along with Monoxidill sold as Rogain but there are generic cheaper versions as a lotion can help, comes in 2% and 5% solutions. Ive used the 5% solution over the years and other than giving me a greasy look to my hair I don't think it helped. If anything I would put more on one side of my crown than the other to see if there was a difference and the side that I used more lotion on has lost slightly more hair.

You cant grow hair back once its gone but you can slow down the process which is what ive managed to do. There is also the transplants that have been mentioned which can get you to grow hair but do your research and try and find a doctor that does the newer technique where they take the strands out without cutting a section of your scalp off your head, it does take longer I think so it might be more expensive. The more common method with the cut leaves a scar around the back of your head and if you ever choose to shave bald there is no way to hide it. Also even though the new hair will grow the old hair will continue to fall so you may have to do it 3 - 4 times over the next 20 years.
