Serious question about 2 strike rule

Forgetting variables...

you try to set up a date, she declines with no counter offer, you set up another one, she counter offers the day of saying "Friday or Saturday or if we have to wait that's fine too"

If a guy makes another date with this girl, has he broken the 2 strike rule?

I only want answers that disregard "persistence" because I don't believe in it even for pick up purposes.

Have two strikes been called? Plan and simple.

Yeah I would leave it.

People get persistence confused with time wasting and can look super needy.

For me, I like to put the ball in her court, 'Okay, let me know if you find some time'

Then don't message her again, only reply to her. Some girls eventually get back to me and then I know it is solid.

inviting girls like this to hang out with you and your friends also can make her more comfortable. and when she is there you remind her why she gave you her number to begin with.

I agree with this - but at the same time, you have nothing to lose by trying again (or strategically trying... IE: leaving it a week or two and taking another shot).

If you look needy to a girl who wasn't going to date you anyway - nothing's really lost (except a little dignity!)

That said, know when to stop :)
