I'm just going to give a quick background on the situation. This one chic I was friends with on facebook was looking for a job she's about 22 I'm 21. I wasn't interested at first even though she's a high 9, I figured online chatting would get no where. But, my friend convinced me and said the worse thing that she can do is say no and I'm a faggot if I don't try so I was not going to let him challenge my manhood lol. We chatted for about a week till I finally got the number she was very uninterested at first and for good reason because I have no pictures online only one so she doesn't have a good idea how I look. However, when I got her number I called her about a day later and she was surprised and actually started showing interest. I took her out by the end of the week so at this point we been talking for about two weeks before actually physically meeting each other (way too long).

When I seen her I impressed her immediately because I am in fairly great shape, drive a nice car, and fully independent at my age, etc. However, I could not come up with a valid reason to pull because she lived 40 minutes away from my house so I didn't even attempt to pull. I did kiss close and texted her when I got home telling her that it was worth the trip and hope that we can see each other again soon. However, she didn't reply till the next day in the afternoon and as we continued to text she became cold and stopped replying.

Now there is two reasons why I think that may have happened. One, her original intent was looking for a job and I made some recommendations for her and the next day after our date she got the bad news that she didn't get the position (she wasn't given a fair chance even though she was well qualified and I know she would've presented herself well). The other reason why she might have went cold I was thinking she probably didn't have any intentions on doing anything with me she just wanted a free meal.

The last thing I texted her was "How was your day?" which I regretted the minute I hit the send button because I had a feeling she would not reply and that's exactly what happened.

I guess my question at this point is you think I should bother trying to get a day 2 going?

In lies the problem.
