I've been reading this book over the holidays and I just finished it yesterday. I wanted to talk to someone about it but you guys are the only ones who I think would really 'get it'.

So I've been in the game for a fair few years now, in and out as relationships come and go. I've seen trends come and go, felt more involved and less, and I know how much this stuff has helped my life.

Ok, so this book. Just to be clear, this is not a PUA manual - it's just, well I don't really know how to describe it. It's kinda like reading (or watching) Fight Club, you juist feel like the book 'gets it' and gets our thing. That it understands what it's like to be a man in this modern world.

Anyway, if anyone's read it I'd be interested to know your reaction. Does it change the way you think about things? It's certainly made me think about my new year's resolutions a bit (when I traditionally try to get myself to learn something new PUA-wise.

I have been on break from my trade school so, on my nightstand, I have a book. I also listen to some audio books at night too while I sleep. Something Tai Lopez mentioned is that, you can usually pick up a summary of a book, and pull the most important pieces out. Its a way to read 10x quicker instead of word for word. If you were to hangout with me, you would know, I read like a mad man, and I do the best I can to apply it. I will follow up more once I read a summary of the book. Most people have a NYE resolution. I make it about lifestyle. The thing with lifestyle is that, you have it for yourself but, you are also giving back to those who are apart of your life. Right now, I am reading David Deidas, Way of the SUperior man. It is a incredible read. He speaks about masculine and feminine essence. He also talks about men and having a higher purpose in life. He also mentions the side effects of making your woman your purpose in your life. Something I notice through PU is that, the women constantly change, our lives intersect for a short period of time, and then, we return back to what we are. Where I find myself now, I have finally learned Deidas message, and its not about PU. It is great to find love or start a family but, it was not the life goal I was born to do. This maybe what women feel is in their purpose of life. I find it is more subjective. Usually, its a social narrative people hold onto for meaning which is unhealthy cause, unenlightened people are not the most ideal parents. What purpose does the book have for your and how does it change your outlook?

Deida pretty much informs me the importance of purpose above all else. The woman I like or love that gives birth to my future son or daughter will mean the world to me. More importantly, as much I love her, my purpose must be fulfilled above everything otherwise, the man she likes or loves is questioned. If she questions him at his core, she will question his ability to lead, to be a man, and to do great things.
