Our personality types according to my Jungian psych book and online myers-briggs sites says she is perfect.
Completely stopped taking you seriously at this point...

Listen, you sound like an insufferable person to be with. Your obsession with Carl Jung is not the only issue. You can't even see that your straying is the fundamental problem here. It doesn't matter whether you used PUA or not; the Masters Degree Woman has decided she's not going to be your side thing. It's as simple as that. If you and "the lady" aren't working then end it with her before getting with something else. It's common sense.

But of course you don't want to do that. The truth is, there's something about the "lady" that you can't let go of. I'll be honest, I think you're the problem, not the "lady".

If younglady is actually a chick then I'm embarrassed to half agree with her.

First of all this new relationship is only exciting and so good because you have been in a shitty one for so long. Also your new found fondness for "the art of lovemaking" is simply because you haven't had loving sex in so long and now your like a kid in Disneyland (sic newpussyland). My newly divorced friend has been fucking some randoms up to like three times a night; whereas I've been single and fucking for so long I can barely be bothered to do anything but pass out on their couches in my underwear after I nut. This new found excitement and love is just the effect of your previously shit relationship so lets not get confused on that point.

Other than that I cant help you, I'm absolutely terrible with real relationships

ps. I also find Jungian, Briggs-Myers, 16 personality types compatibility largely to be bullshit, but hey it made Vin DeCarlo a lot of money selling that shit to the PUA community.

Meyers Briggs is used often in the corporate world. It is self-reported, so there is a bias. However, the reality is that we all have different things that make us different from one another. MB is an attempt to group these into categories and then find commonalities amongst people. I have taken an MB test and I have taken other such testing and found there is some level of accuracy to them. Two people may have compatible types, but it is life and there are no guarantees. In short, it is an interesting bit of data, but not one I would put all my faith in or dismiss as BS or irrelevant.

I would dismiss it as mostly BS due to the problem of "weak types". You can google that if your unfamiliar with the term. The problem is that sticking people in one of 16 boxs may provide some basic insight to a small set of behaviors but doesn't go far in helping to navigate the complex interactions of relationships. The fact that "corporations do it" doesn't militate the case. Corporations also spend minor amounts of money on all manor of frivolous half-baked distractions for various reasons.

I googled "weak types" and "myers briggs", this thread/site was the second hit. Can't be a very well-used term, lol.
