Do direct approaches work?

Ok so I winged up with this guy last night. And long story short he just directly approaches girls and they show ioi's

For example: he just walked up to a girl and asked for a cigarette, she gave it to him and lit it for him, I could tell by her body language that she was interested in him. This guy made me feel like a newbie. Lol.

Anyway, my question is, is it true, do cold approaches like that work that well? He did it with no hesitation, very calm and confident, do you think that's why it worked so well? Thanks for your input

i did my first direct approach a few days ago, she turned me down saying she had a bf.
even if she was telling the truth, i walked away pretty happy cos the smile on her face was priceless.

that was during daygame where direct apporaches arent reccommeneded.

through what ive seen and heard, direct approaches work better for good looking guys/ physically fit guys

also i know direct approaches work awsomely at like 1 am in nightclubs and stuff when girls are starting to look for guys to go home with

i dont see why it wouldnt work... sounds more natural than anything

Waiting for the girl to show an IOI before "going in" is supplicative IMO. It's also presumptuous, as in, this girl should be noticing MEEEEE right NOW and not thinking about feeding her dog when she gets home. The question is, are you (not you OP, just in general) a MAN or not. You approach, the girl vibes off your energy and she starts swooning just like you saw happen w/ your wing.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A COLD APPROACH if you have a calibrated vibe. Women are mirrors.

Not that there is a set ruling on this, but I would've thought it's the other way round. Night game is were you can "weasle" your way into a social circle, neg and isolate. Daygame you have no other choice but to be direct, cause you most likely only have a couple of minutes to #close (say in a bus, the gym, the line in the bank or something).

I agree. It's not weird that that guy is doing well. It's much about your body language.

It's better to be direct during the day or you risk to seem insincere and you risk you'll miss the opportunity to get the number etc.
In a night game it's normal to be playfull and play around, it's different SPAM....

What is weird about asking for a cig? It is one of the most natural things to do. And not only in a nightclub/bar setting, but also in a day game.
It is probably even more natural (at least in some European countries) than "hi, may name is X, I want to meet you". So not sure what was weird here for you :)

That is right. if you approach a woman knowing you just got with or are about to get with a hot woman, she can tell and it comes off in your body language and tonality. Thus attracting her to you. The game is not as hard as some make it seem.

Asking for a cigarette light is not a direct approach FYI. Yes of course it works, this is like 101. Women don't give a shit as long as you do it the right way. Women will fuck a garbage man in an alley way on the way to his next stop if he is confident and cool.
