I met this girl in a restaurant. I decided to join her on her table afterwards, so it was an instant date. I talked to her and she has my personality, impulsive.

I talked to her and kept on talking and touching her on her leg, hugging her when she did something well, but she was good at hiding her attraction. She talked as if she was used to people taking her shit and I just contradicted her whenever I felt like it and tried to move the talk back to topics that were more positive.

Finally, and this is why I write that, she quit with "I would've said that I enjoyed our conversation but I didn't." she even said it twice after some time, probably because she messed it up the first time.

I replied with: "I hope you get run over by a car".

And she left with "I try".

The weird thing was that there was never any angry mood in the room and even after she left I just felt a little sad that she left. I don't resent her even though we had a pretty impulsive talk.

She was a 9, but I didn't really see that. All I experienced was the vibe we had and I was proud of myself that neither her looks nor her behaviour intimidated or distracted me in any way.

What would you learn out of that? I mean after all I didn't exchange numbers and we didn't have sex, so being seen from this perspective it is a failed date.

Lessons learnt, you either went for a girl out of your league, or the girl has some issues. Either way, you probably could have ended the interaction before it got sour. Neither you or the girl would have left the interaction feeling better.

As you progress, you will learn to read signals better. You will know if she was just joking, or she really thought you were a douche, whether she wanted you to leave or if she was giving you a shit test, and so on and so forth.

Continue approaching and your questions will answer themselves - experience is key.
