There's a couple cute girls I matched with months ago, and they never removed me but never replied... thinking maybe it's about time for a second attempt. One problem is that my first message will still show because of how their chat works, so can't even hope they forgot and pretend like it's the first time!
I've used:
"Wow that was fucking lame..." and then say something like "Let's try this again... Hi, I'm X"
Simple, but it's worked for me...
