Any thoughts on your girlfriend's male friends. What strategies do you take with them?

Be cool with them. If you manage to meet them, befriend with them (if they are cool). That way also you demonstrate that you are not jealous of them.

If you know for sure they try to pick your girl - talk to them, not to do bs. But eventually its all up between you and the girl. If you fulfill each others needs she will not get picked by them and you will not need to pick other women.

i tend to befriend them, demonstrate i'm a good/interesting/funny/cool dude, get them liking me and realizing i have more to offer the woman than they do. most guy friends are trying to bang the chick, or at least would bang her if they both got drunk alone together. make it clear that these other guys aren't up to par with you, but be benevolent too, so that if ever there's a time where they have a shot to bang the girl, they at least think "man, her boyfriend is a really good dude. i'm a real piece of shit if i do this."

i'm a lot taller/bigger than most guys though, and i'm way bigger than all of my gf's male friends, so there's also an unspoken "this guy would crush me if i tried anything" vibe to my interactions with male orbiters.

bottom line is women get swept away in the heat of the moment. most men at least consider the ramifications. you want the friends liking you, somewhat fearing you, and not wanting to risk ruining their reputation and getting the shit kicked out of them at the same time. that's the best you can do. but remember people are ruthless and nothing is foolproof. preselection is the best way to solve any issues we talk about on this side of the forum.

well it means a couple different things: when a girl is attracted to a guy because that guy is with another pretty girl, or that guy is dating the girl's most attractive female friend or something like that.... we say the guy is benefiting from "preselection," meaning one woman is attracted to him because other, prettier women have already "selected" him... so he must have something going for him.

but in this particular instance, i mean that YOU should select your woman based on certain qualities that make a good girlfriend. so for example if a woman cheats, you shouldn't date that woman. you should select a better woman in the beginning so you don't have to constantly wonder if she is going to cheat on you.

if you preselect well enough, you won't have nearly as many issues because your girlfriend will be solid to begin with. that's the best way to avoid most relationship issues.
