Been talking to an awesome girl 3 hours away. We haven’t met. She’s into me sexually and otherwise. I have little experience setting things up for a FWB, and she seems like a tough nut to crack, but I’m not necessarily against taking on a challenge. If nothing else, than to learn. She’s the jealous type and wants a lot of attention.

Any suggestions?

The fact that we wouldn't see each other often makes me think it can't be done.

DUDE SHES 3 HOURS AWAY !!!

find someone within half an hour who you can have as a FWB ! your obviously sitting on your computer chatting to girls via social media or dating sites. Sort it out and jump in to the real world.

I'm not bad with women and it's not difficult to find them closer. I have women closer that I see regularly. The 3 hour away girl is most unusual, and if I can talk her out of monogamy then we'd be a long term fwb thing.

Why is that? I don't necessarily disagree, or, aggree. Do you say that because sex opens a new dynamic between her and I, changing the relationship? Or maybe you mean something very different.

You don't want to make any decisions on what you want from her until you've had sex with her. In your case, you haven't even met her but you're already trying to get to being FWB. What happens if the sex is terrible? What if you can't stand being around her? What happens if she ends up the greatest woman you've ever met in your life? You're already making decisions based on literally nothing at all.
