It would be very helpful if you provide links for those methods

I do like some aspects of NLP. But what I think is that majorly, it is a far more useful tool for self improvement, than it is for pick-up. Regarding Ross, he reminds me of a Sith Lord, running his cult. Everything about that guy creeps me out. The way he talks, the way he stands, just everything.

NLP has these nuances of always learning. Embracing the process of learning. Experimenting, modeling. All kinds of positive, useful things. While Ross is just showing you his way of manipulating women into sleeping with him through covert hypnosis. Not that I have a problem with that, but you really need to understand hypnosis to do that. His marketing is outragous, and he is deceiving thousands of men into that learning this is easy. And with that, I do have a problem. Even in his material, he's always embracing himself, almost as if he were some supernatural being. It's extremely disturbing for me, to read his stuff.

Regarding what can be used from NLP to pick-up without hypnosis, it's quite limited. But the learning model of NLP is awesome for getting better, getting motivated, getting in the correct state. Also there are extremely precise cold reading techniques, also associated with NLP that you can use in the field.

I hope this helps to clear things up

Peace,

In$tinct

I agree with Instinct here. I'm looking into NLP because I want to improve myself. To bring forward the subconscious to the subconscious within myself. I don't want to use it to manipulate others. I don't want to use it to get my boss to give me a pay raise. I don't want to use it to get my dad to buy me a new car. And definitely don't want to use it to manipulate a high quality woman to like me.

I have a suspicion that your subconscious mind actually wants those things. lol. Once you understand some fundamentals of NLP you suddenly get almost like a power upgrade. An upgrade of understanding how people are really feeling and a upgrade in your ability to influence people more deeply than before because you understand them so much better. So now sometimes influence gets termed as manipulation...but the bigger picture is this. Just because you think you don't want to manipulate people should not hold you back from learning to influence people. Being influential is a trait of the best seducers, CEOs, and world leaders.

Think of the moral issues. I don’t use NLP in pickup for the same reason. Yes that kind of stuff work, but I prefer the woman to choose ME, to be attracted to my core self, not an act and certainly not because she has been influenced. Thats only my personal opinion, and a bit of an answer for your questions, OP.

There is some truth in NLP if you truly believe it. That being said, NLP is not the end all be all of pickup and seduction. It can be used as a tool in your arsenal, but you shouldn't totally rely on NLP.

NLP for me is quite interesting, I believe its a tool for self improvement and that is what I would use it for.

The founders of NLP came out a while ago and admitted that everything they created was made up from their head. There is value in it, but I've seen it SOOO overdone. Focus on investment game. NLP will help after you've mastered the shit out of everything else.

If you believe in NLP, why not direct it inwards rather then outwards...

If you work on making yourself a badass... then it be alot less work then having to work on each girl individually...

This for me is the serious flaw in ross's thinking...

I think he's coming around to this type of thinking now though.

"Why is the NLP forum is so dead?"

Because, we are out sarging and are NOT keyboard jockies. ;)

"Why i there's a lot of hate to Ross's NLP?"

He has a lot of fans and yes a lot of "hate" too. But, that's almost every PUA guru...

Quite True.

BTW I read somewhere that Ross actually said some things about NLP that go against what NLPers believe about NLP. I have one of his Total Immersion Products and he does give credit to Richard Bandler at one point.
