| So I'm taking a massive shit in god knows where, bumfuck Illinois at some gas station, and thought I'd write up somethin real quick. Just got done with the RSD free tour, and I have to say, holy hell. Life changing experience.
We were the first ones there, and the next couple to arrive were cool as hell... Just chill guys in the game but much further ahead. Had awesome convos about where we come from what we do etc, and the group of 4 slowly turned into 10 then to 50 people in the lobby all just having an awesome time chatting about game, life, hobbies, and just shooting the shit. Tons of friendly ass dudes. Then it was time to enter.
Got in the room, and first was two dudes I've never heard of before, Gio and Valentino I think. Cool ass guys, had some funny stories to tell, and got the general vibe going. Then came Alex. He went through where he came from, his journey in a nutshell, and answered some questions. Gave us about an hour of content that was fucking sick, and then had some hot seat footage previews with some samples of what they do (good marketing, made me really wanna do hot seat). Then we had some more lessons, and Brad came out with a few words and it was over after about 2.5 hours.
Afterwards I talked to a couple guys, and they were going out so we just joined up with them. My buddy and I are barely intermediate and these guys were good, so they basically helped critique our game, watching us as we opened and told us what to do next in their opinions... I've never really cold approached before tonight and damn... Learning that shit was fuckin fantastic. Fresh content to try out and some veterans to guide us through Chicago.
Final note, take the god damn free tour. We drove 4.5 hours on a college budget, and I can say honestly so worth it. My game is about to launch off.
