Im like 19 yrs old and at university. Im just starting so going after HB7's really maybe some 8's. I really dont see the attraction with HB10's at the moment but im sure that will come in time. Basically should I neg them because I tried it like last week on a HB7 and im pretty sure she liked it. I know it's not neccessary and I dont do huge negs on them but are small ones are ok just to build up attraction?

Absolutely! I had a date with an HB8 last night I used a lite neg on her nails saying, "Nice nails, how often do you get them put on? they still look nice." Then a small neg saying she looked like a cute marshmellow in this white poofy, ski coat she was wearing. I also did one, "You're pretty tall, what are those like 3 inch heels?" I know I don't really need this many negs but she was kino pinging me after getting me my objective.

As you know it really depends on how the HB views herself and her own self image as to how many negs are really needed. With HB7s and HB8s I will neg but I won't use harsh ones at all, just doing it to keep it playful. You'll be able to tell pretty quickly when you're getting results from it and when you just pissed her off.

you have to understand what a neg is and when to use it. if the girl perceives yourself as lower in value then you use it. think about it, every guy is super nice or shy when they around a cute girl so if you are a guy that isnt afraid to tease a girl of high ranking, then she should assume that you are a high value male.
