 Post subject: Moving fast, TOO FAST

I am in college.

Basically, just got rejected. I had a girl in my room. I texted her, and within 20 minutes she was in my room thinking she was going to play a game. I thought that the message was clear that I wanted to get physical. But when it came to escalating:
One: I froze up
and,
Two: She wasn't happy about me "tricking" her.

Was the time frame too short?
Was I too direct?
How do I make my intentions clear without coming off creepy and make the girl uncomfortable

Her: "Yeah why?"
Me: "Let's play a game."
Her: "what kind of game?"
back and forth
Me: something along the lines of "This will blow your mind"
Her:"What is it!"
Her: "Tell me!"
Her: "I need to know"
Me: "Meet me in 30 minutes"
Her:"ok"
five minutes later, she blows me off
Her: "I have something at 9:30"
I don't respond. five more minutes
Her: "I can come for five minutes. Is it going to be quick"
Me: "I can tell you now it's not going to be a quickie"

Her:"I am so confused"
five more minutes!
Her:" ok, I'm coming"

While you did drop some innuendo, you did say that she was coming over to play a game. That was not direct at all.

I'd be pissed if I were her too...

Even if she got what you were doing - you froze up and wasted her time... Chick was busy or something, too, you could kinda tell.

I get what you were trying to do - be playful, yada yada... That's not what happened though.

Ur playing a child's game and it got on her nerves so she moved onto something else

It's fine to be mysterious and build intrigue, just don't be annoying girls know when u're toying with them and it makes you look bad

I'm not sure whether it's his fault, the reason being that there was plenty of innuendo and that I know a few people in my college who have messaged similar things.

Was she a foreigner? That could be a part of it. I like to brew tea or hand them a ginger beer, put on Netflix (I'll normally play Cheers, it's great because it's a comedy and there's a lot of sexual tension), and see how the girl responds to me rubbing her leg for a bit. If it's positive I verbal escalate for a bit and kiss her.
