There was a girl I was obsessed with for a year. That "mystery girl" that everyone has. I'd see her all of the time and never knew her name. She disappeared but reemerged on facebook. This was months after I'd last seen her, so while I still thought about her from time to time, I wasn't obsessed.

I started talking to her and I know longer feel that attraction. I wanted this girl so badly, and I'm almost trying to make myself like her again but I just can't do it. I don't see why I was so attracted to her in the first place even though she's talking to me.

It's almost as if I'm saying to myself "No, you obsessed over this girl, now it's time to try to get her". But now that the time has come... the attraction is gone.

Has anyone ever had this happen?

yeah my buddy used to like this girl alot however since she became distant over the summer holidays and saw her just yesterday hes confused and thinking, ' why do i no longer find this girl attractive ' its weird but i guess just try and forget about her for now as your trying to make yourself feel attracted to her which is not going to happen.
