Dealing with a HB9 college girl. I met her last Thursday at some school function. We hit it off really well. She started kino first, I reciprocated and she seemed to like it. I got her # and then invited her out with a few of my friends to a bar later that night. She accepted right away.

We had a good time at the bar, and I ended up taking her home. She invites me to her room. She unlocks the door and peeks her head in to "see if the roommate is asleep." Turns out roommate was awake, and comes out and starts badgering her with all these questions and stuff. HB decides she just wants to go to sleep, and says she'll walk me outside to my car. Outside, I think I am going to get a k-close but at the very last second, she turns her face slightly so I end up kissing her on cheek. She then tells me to call her.

I thought I was guaranteed a k close, so I don't know what happened. And I probably fucked up when I called her the next day, but I think I got serious one-itis. I left a voicemail. She never returned my call. I have not called back. A friend told me that she had two midterms yesterday and a take-home midterm due today. So she is probably very busy. Since she is done with stuff, I was thinking of calling her again or just texting her.

What do you think - call or text? I was gonna go with a text opener like 'I just saw something that reminded me of you' to almost guarantee a response. I think this girl is into me, so I hopefully want to use today to ask her on a date. What is best way to do this? I'm going out with friends again on Thursday and could invite her along but we already did that, so what do you think?

One thing you do NOT want to do is seem needy. Based on the way things ended, it appears that its going in that direction.

She should know that you are completely unaffected by her. In other words, you could care less about the whole situation. . .it will drive her crazy.

Well, I tried to not seem needy. I probably came across as that by calling her day after, but that's why I refrained from any contact with her after that.

I called her last night and she didn't pick up. I decided that was it, was going to forget about this girl and move on. Well she calls me today, and we got a day2 set up for Tuesday.
