Ok, met this girl in a bar, number closed her and went on my merry way. Couple of days later, sent her an SMS saying that I'll be in her area the next day and that we should meet up if shes around. She wrote back saying she's busy, but there's some band or something playing and would I like to join. I sent one back saying I'm not sure who that is (cuz she said the name of the group in the SMS) but that it sounds interesting. She hasn't replied yet, but now I don't think I will have the time to go because I will probably have to work until the late evening. I want to SMS her again before she replies to me, because if she tells me more about the event, and I say 'oh i'm busy', it'll sound like I think it sounds crap. But I don't know what to say, and I don't know how to correctly time bridge towards another meeting. Help please!

I think you should tell her the truth about having to work (you are telling the truth riiiiight? ) but also let her know that you are still wanting to interact with her.

I say you meet her for lunch the day of the show or maybe the next day. Besides the whole idea is to spend more time alone with her (which can be attainable in a concert/show setting but not as likely considering there will be music blaring and not many places to be alone (depending on the venue)).

Also, I would recommend you call her instead of SMS messaging her because your vocal tone can convey interest and it won't seem like you are hiding behind words/avoiding confrontation. Just be honest about your work situation and have a rain check date already planned so you are still leading the interaction.

If you checked off all of Attraction Phase (which I assume you did considering you got her # and she invited you to that show) then I don't think it will be an issue.

I don't like this suggestion because if she's a hot babe (and we only game HB's, right?), you should be doing everything in your power to de-emphasize the importance you place on looks for women you enjoy having in your life. I will say this though, you better not bluff about this stuff. If you really do have a better offer from another super hot babe, get the two in eyesight of each other when you are with one of them. This builds insane social proof and create jealousy plot-lines. You don't need to talk about the fact that you have hot women at your disposal. Act as if!!, don't talk about it. There is a difference. Do it for real if you can. Carry yourself as if you can, even if you can't!! Bluffing is try-hard and girls will sense it.
