I was wondering what you gentlemen thought about dating or seducing women on birth control. In this regard, I mean the pill. I have read a number of studies by evolutionary psychologists stating that women depending on there place in their menstrual cycle will select different types of men. For example, women who are ovulating and not on birth control will select men who have fitness indicators that suggest good genes (broad shoulders, muscles, tall, good with women, high status, etc.). Women who are not ovulating find men with resources more attractive and favour mates that are more caring and less of a ladies man. The pill mimics the hormonal conditions of pregnancy. Therefore women tend to select men who are willing to invest resources in their future offspring at all times. I believe this gives us PUAs a false signal about what our girls are really after. A woman may be on birth control and go off it to get pregnant only to find out her guy as a bitch and break up with him or worse, cuckold him. As a general principle, I feel it far better to date women who do not use birth control so as to get an accurate reflection of what my girl wants from a mate.

That is quite true but if a woman is hormonally primed to respond favorably to different cues as a result of being on birth control (the body believing it is pregnant) you will be less accurate with your game. You would be given false positives on what routines and gambits are effective and which are not. If I am to date a girl, it would be best to understand her as she is naturally rather than understand a pharmacologically altered woman which will become a completely different person with different attraction switches the moment she goes off the pill. You would have honed in your game to reflect the desires of a female which is completely artificial. That, will fuck up your game.

It's not like antibiotics. Women don't take the pill for two weeks and then stop. It's usually a long-term commitment up until she decides she wants kids (or another medical issue requires her to temporarily stop her dosage). So to act like a month later she's gonna realize she hates you without the hormones of the pill is a rather silly take.

Also, evolutionary psychology is basically a junk science field that relies on circular logic. They take basic concepts and expand on them over and over to reach some result that, on its own, makes no sense. Don't rely on it.

By the time you know a woman is on the pill or not you should already have her.

The ovulation stuff is blown way out of proportion and has very little if anything to do with actual seduction in real life. Some women are more horny on the pill, others less (usually less from my experience) but it ends up not making a huge difference at all.
