So here's the back story(ill make it quick):

I met this girl at college, shes in my English class, our teacher is a funny guy btw. The first day of class she sat down right next to me(even though there were plenty of chairs all over the room). I'm on her right and the aisle is on her left (I have her isolated lol). She's got a good sense of humor, shes 22 (like me), she does have a KID who's 3 I believe. We get along pretty well, she usually sits pretty close to me and doesn't seem to mind when I do the same, we laugh a lot and she always smiles at me and talks (all this could just be her being a friendly person, I know), the other day I asked her for her email (I didn't say it was for class purposes, but I guess its kind of implied) and she said "ill just give you my phone number and you can txt me , ill send you my email". I did some facebook creeping lol , and I know she just moved here from another state, she has some old pics up with her sons dad, and she's def. single right now. We began to txt yesterday and here is the embarrassing truth:

I'll call her "woman" and myself "man" in the convo lol but these spots are where actual names went

Me: Hey Woman this is Man from English, sorry it took me a while (I got her number on Thursday of the previous week, it was now Tuesday) , I spent the weekend out of town. How was your weekend?

Her:It's all good! Mine was alright, just kinda busy did you read the 2 stories he wanted us to print out?

------I didnt txt back bc that was 30 min before class , I saw her in class we talked laughed etc. then went our ways. I texted her after we went our separate ways like 15min after class-------

Me: Yes, I read the 2 stories (this was now irrelevant )
Me: Is what I would have said, if I would have responded on time and not until after the class had concluded
Me: LOL
Me: (Picture of Doge) My bad

Her: hahahah its all good
Her: (picture of a smiling chihuahua)

Me: lol goodnight, stay "a little drug free" (inside class joke)

Her: haha i'll try that good night to you also

Me: So what are you studying? I think you said you moved here recently?



So that was last night, Idk where to go from there, I don't want to mess it up the way I have been lately. I can feel that I'm on the edge of have a shot or not. I also don't wanna be too crazy since I have the rest of the semester with her NEXT to me. What am doing wrong , or right? I need some advice on how to pick this girl up, and how to direct our conversation so it doesn't get boring and I don't get shot down. Thanks!

So everything's pretty good! Ive been texting, but not too much. Saw her, we agreed to some drinks pretty soon. I'm also testing a lot of these skill sets that i've been learning to identify. I'm def. gonna try to break the kino barrier asap, that way things flow quicker, more comfortable , and with ease. I was reading up on some other ways to do it like the close range communication, elbow touching , play tickling etc. But if there any tips id appreciate it lol I'm also gonna start hitting the bar scene here more often , so all the methods, and tips I can carry with me.
