Been messing around with tinder the past couple of days and got a few decent threads going. This one in particular seemed to go really smoothly, but I wonder if I escalated too quickly.

All this was in a 2-3 hour time period

HER: Haha exactly.... So u r coming like every weekend to ***** and then back to **? Why is that?
ME: The opposite. I come down to **** during the week to consult at ***** and then i head up to ** for the weekends... It's pretty hectic
HER: Oh gotcha so I can catch u just during the week., that actually work better for me too so u r not thinking about moving to **
ME: Yup occasionally I'll hang out during the weekend. I've thought about moving here, but haven't gone past the thought. I live out of a marriott at the moment .
ME: What brought you down here?
HER: Where is it? Downtown?
HER: Um i work as an aupair in here have u eve heard about it?
ME: Unfortunately not. It's the ***** (marriott)
HER: That's pretty close to me like 15 minutes
ME: You should come by and check it out
HER: Wow, that was fast! lol
ME: Haha. We have a pretty awesome bar here as well
HER: Now u got me! Wheres bar theres *** (her name) lol

Going to ask her out to drinks tonight.

ME: So how's your day going so far? I hear the life of an aupair is pretty intense
HER: Haha it is but I work jus till 5 today and I had off in the morning but next month I start to take classes so I don't know how it looks


Any opinions on how to play it? Should I text more and add interest or suggest drinking tonight? She did suggest she's off at 5... I wanna make sure I don't move TOO quickly without getting enough interest on her end.

If she's still responding positively, you didn't spook her or escalate too quickly.

This all looked pretty fucking good to me, really... Not sure why you're doubting yourself.

I would suggest texting her that you're off at 5 pm (or whatever) and you'd love to meet her for a drink at X location... See how that goes over.

She seems interested.

She mentioned taking classes, don't ignore that. Use it to future project how you will see eachother then. Then when you ask about tomorrow or whatever she has already expressed interest and comfort in seeing you.

Looks good to me. I like her.

Let us know how you go, I think you should find out what her hobbies might be, and meet up with her through that way as an alternative to a bar. Im sure the other 7 guys she's messaging are asking her out to a bar also. Be different.
