I just laughed and asked her why she would ask me that. She said someone told her she was pretty but she didn't think she was as pretty as other people. She was a little bit tipsy so I figured it was my opportunity to avoid giving a straight answer, told her I'd tell her when she was sober. Point is I really don't know how to respond, I'm going to sound disingenuous as I never really compliment women and don't really compliment her apart from the occasional "hey beautiful." Also was she genuinely just wondering if I did or was it deeper than that (usually is)?

WTF? When your girlfriend asks you if you think she's pretty you say yes...unless she's not, then you break up with her and next time date someone you find attractive. This PUA thing gets to people's heads sometimes. Makes them incapable of having a real natural relationship without thinking, "Oh, I'm not supposed to compliment her." My advice, you have a girlfriend now, stop thinking like a PUA. That doesn't mean stop being alpha. But stop treating your girlfriend like a target. Just let it happen.

That sounds like some pua stuff . I agree that you can't always give her a compliment when she asks for one but if it's your girlfriend you should not worry about negging her. But I would still do it once in a while to keep it playful between you and her
