Maybe "Looks don't matter" when it comes to picking up married middle eastern women in their 30s. It does with white/asian girls and that's why nearly all of us are here.
Looks do matter as long as it ''matters'' within the right context. Looks specifically matter a specific way to every person, specifically. Physical attraction is subjective and it is due to evolution and genes that we are all different. If there was no diversity among the populous we would all likely die out of something that affected everyone in the same way.
Ask a few of your friends what they like, you might be shocked to find out that 90% of men don't want asians and white girls exclusively and that is just your preference. Although most people don't want a morbidly obese partner (even though a few do), plenty will still be down with chubby girls and plenty won't be, plenty will want a certain niche or style, and plenty won't care. We are all different, male or female, on both sides every individual has their own individual tastes. One thing that can be fairly universally helpful however is to figure out what a particular society deems to be important. So in the west we idolize celebrity, and money, and fitness. So if you want to be looked at as high status in society according to our media's conditioning, you must work towards all three. It also differs around the world, if you want to be considered high status in Russia, just obtain money and respect. In just about every society high status is considered attractive, if you are what's in and important, you are what people want because that is what they think they are missing to also be what's in and important.
