So I set up a date with a girl I have been talking with for a few days online. We agreed to be in contact in the beginning of this week to set up the exact details because we both have work commitments. Now I texted her, suggesting Thurday to which she just replied that she is sunbathing on Thursday. She did not suggest another time. Is there anything to salvage this or is it just best to move onto the next one?

Horrible excuse, but typical of online girls. Honestly you're probably never going to meet this girl but you can give it another kick at the can if you want. Next time try to set something up sooner, I know it's tough if you are busy with work but just meet her out after work. The longer you wait, the less likely she is to leave her comfort bubble and meet up with you. If I start talking to someone online on a Monday, I'll try to meet up with them by Wednesday at the latest.

Like I said in the thread I started, it's not about trying to project that you're Mr. Joe Cool with a busy schedule and lots going on (not saying that you are doing that). But rather you want to capture the girl's interest and pounce on the opening she gives you.

I recently pulled a girl off okc she seemed cool had a lot of similar interests got her # within a couple msgs she lives about 3 hrs away and was gonna come up spend the weekend. However she told me she had a colorful past, but wouldn't tell me anymore today I found out just how fucking colorful it was. I was at my parents for breakfast while we're eating Dog the bounty hunter was on in the background in this episode they were in Denver where this girl is originally from. They say who their looking for showed the mug shot and I almost shit myself it was the girl I pulled from okc!!! I'm thinking holy shit WTF WTF WTF!!!!! She skipped bail and was wanted on a drug warrant and was arrested by Dog and his crew on tv. Needless to say I won't be in contact with her anymore.
