I've heard several people in the pua community say that you shouldn't add girls on fb if you haven't built enough rapport to number close. but what if, e.g., its a friend of a friend you made out with in a club, but still didn't number close or build any rapport with at all (by the end of the night i was too drunk to number close, rookie error, and f close was impossible due to logistics)

That being said, feel free to add random girls (friends of friends) on Facebook. You can (and I have) fucked girls that way.

Add her on Facebook man. I don't see the big deal. Create your own rules.

I personally preach to guys to practice the art of letting go, because it develops your levels of self-awareness and resilience in ways you wouldn't believe. But if you don't care about being the greatest version of yourself then do what you want.

Facebook friends doesn't mean shit.
It's a little creepy if you've stalked her down, have no friends in common and barely even know her last name.
But if she's a friend of a friend you met at a party, finding her is like 3 clicks and kind of socially acceptable.

It's still only a request, she can say no - sounds much like asking for a number.

A number close doesn't always have to be an actual number. I've SPAM'd, Facebooked, Twittered and even email address closed before. It's merely getting a means of contacting them to arrange a date.

It might be a little creepy now that you've left it for a week after making three different topics about it on here.
