Like i will walk up to a girl and say "Excuse me, i have an important question to ask you. If you were a pet what kind of animal would you be and your name?" or if you want to see real confused looks on their face say "Whats the difference between an orange" trust me it will be awkward but it gets stuff rolling. Those are kinda out there but I use them.

Such as any opinon question which engages the whole group. For example..."Excuse me, I have a question me and my friends were having an arguement over who the best bond was" Any opinionlike that or you can say something like this is taken from the game but is very effective. "Wow did you guys see the fight outside a minute ago two girls were really going at it over this one guy who was just laughing"
so there you go, i mean you can think of tons of opners...its not to hard just gotta test them out on the field

I like the "Hey, can I get a females advice on something? It'll just take a second. I'm pretty new to the area... do you know of any fun places to hang out around here?"
The reason why is because I've already prepared DHV stories to follow up regardless of what her response is.
If she mentions a club -> "I'm not too crazy about ***. Last time I was there I saw these 2 really hot girls fighting..."
IF she mentions a restaurant -> "It's interesting you mention that. I read a Maxim survey recently that said the best places to meet young people are..."
Try it out. I've field tested it.
Respectfully,
M

cheers
