Soo I've been friends with this one girl for the last 3 years. She also knows I've had a crush on her for the last 3 years. I just recently graduated college and the coming semester is her final semester. I'd love to make her mine, like a girlfriend haha. Anyway here's my problem. She's never in the 3 years I've known has shown interests in guys. And I know she's straight cause like guys but she's not interested in anything because she is a nurse major so she's super dedicated to her studies. But in 3 years she's also never hooked up with a guy. I have a feeling she may be a virgin which is fine with me. She's also been texting me a lot more then she used to and we've been having less and less awkward conversations. But I'm scared that if I ask her out it would make it awkward cause I'm a shy awkward guy around girls when I ask them out. I can be a friend and I can ask girls to dance at the bar but other then that I'm awkward. Any help is appreciated.

You're starting off where many, many, many, maaaany guys here started off. To take the next step you will have to realize that you need to work on YOURSELF before trying to work things out with one specific girl.

You might tell yourself, "Nah, I don't like anyone else. I just want this girl," but open your mind a bit here; surely you've been at least a little bit attracted to other women before, right? Surely you've gotten hard watching other women in porn, and surely you've had fleeting moments of emotional connection with other women, too.

Think of it this way: if you REALLY like this girl, imagine that she's a final exam and you need to take a bunch of quizzes and practice tests before being ready for the final. And along the way you just might find a different perspective that gives you the opportunity to make a different choice that will make you happier than you could have imagined before.
