hey so first time posting but here it goes... me and this girl have been best friends for a while and we had a thing but i didnt want to go out with her then and now i really fell for her hard. We hooked up before (not sex) and i told her i liked her and she said she didnt feel the same and well we continued our friends with benefits one day i asked her why she didnt like me and she said "idk i just dont see u that way" (friend zone). so i had a plan i am going on vacation for 3.5 weeks i just wont talk to her during that time and ill come back a changed person and that should work. well it may have worked if this guy didnt come in and screw things up. they met lik 2 or 3 weeks ago and they r head over heels for each other. which got me mad because i have tried so many things for the past year to get her and nothing has worked. so i assumed she wants something new. but idk what to do?? any advice??? im really stuck here

You might want to put this in the general questions section because here, hardly anyone will read it. Anyway, I think it would be a lot less struggle for you to simply find another girl.

I would just move on, man. Sounds like a bad case of the classic oneitis to me. Take It from someone who used to get it from(literally) every female I fealt attracted to. I still get it quite often actually. Your best bet is to find something new and better. If anything it will work in your favor and she will see it and come back to you and maybe give you a shot. It's the classic "jealousy" trick. Female minds are wired like this. It might not work right away but in my experiences it works 85% of the time
