I am looking for a list of pros and cons in asking a lady out on a 1st date for possible long term relationship. She is divorced with two children, son is aged 11yrs and daughter is 17yrs. I have never considered asking a single mother out on a date, but I am somewhat drawn to her.

We are both 40yrs of age and I do not have children of my own.

I met her in a salsa club and she likes dancing with me and have just joined a dance class that I also attend.

Pros and cons.... anyone?

pros if you do not want children, she won't bother you with that, she probably will not bother you with marriage either.

cons. you may have drama with the ex(but unlikely), you may get drama of the 2 kids, if you want your own kids she probably will not want.

She is probably looking for a provider, instead of a lover.

Learn how to be good with women in general so you can pick and choose instead of settling. Why do you have to go ltr with a girl you just met, kids or no kids, divorce or not divorce. This is not how is done with ANY WOMAN.

Pro: Built up sexual energy from not having much time to date raising children, and limited number of 'quality' men willing to 'date' a single mother.

Con: Raising and financially supporting her ADD video game, and ritalin addicted tween, and rebellious daddy issue sexually charged teen.
