A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.

It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

I am a field virgin (haven't been out in the field... and a virgin in general now that i mention it!) I stared reading "the game" two nights ago... what an awesome read! Straight on to goodle... search "PUA".. this stuff is amazing haha.

What I am forseeing will happen to me when I try my first sarg is I'll confront a group, attempt an opener, and straight away, I'll freeze... lol, it sounds pathetic, but I can see it happening, I am 100% AFC, left high school a virgin, still a virgin (19yo).

To use Strauss as an example:

me: "looks like the party's over here!"
set: "haha.... "
me: "er... orite then! c ya round"

where do I go if none in the set contribute? what's the next step? Asking an open ended question to me seems a little random and a bit of a buzzkill... they are all chatting away, then suddenly a pale faced stranger comes along and asks what the occasion is....

I don't know, maybe it's just my inexperience, I am one of the hardest people to talk to... even if it's my best buddy... I am never the one making conversations, always one word answers, same with family, I am just generaly hard to talk to..

Any tips? Anyone been in the same situation? Thanks for your patcience :D

Hey ! welcome to the community !

First of all dont stop at the game , there is tons of brilliant stuff out there try to read as mutch of it as possible. knowledge = power :)

Second dont be afraid to walk to a set and open, ppl who go to bars and party's do so to meet new ppl. Otherwise they would just invite the friends they had to some fondue evening or whatever. Sets should be glad to meet such a great guy as yourself!

I would suggest reading up on some conversational skills and inner game, both sections of the forum have some really nice posts.

hope to have been of some help

Hey DemonDuck,

I know what you'r talking about! I wasn't a very talkative person either. In fact i was a shy person and didn't like to talk to strange people.

But you have to see things a little bit different:
When you sarge the first time, don't make it your goal to pick up the hottest girl. Just go out and have fun. Get in a talkative mood and make some new friends. After opening some sets you will notice that people enjoy your company and are glad to meet you! This experience will boost your self-esteem and make you more confident.

Greetings.Try
