I have a lot of work done. A full Japanese backpiece that comes down into a half sleeve plus some large tattoos on the underside of each forearm as well as one round my wrist. I generally either wear long sleeve if Im going somewhere I feel less comfortable otherwise I wear shortsleeved. Should I find outfits and ways to hang my upper-arm sleeve out to peacock? I dont do it now as I feel like a dick, loser wanna be thug trying to look hard. That was until I discovered the game so I could really do with all your opinions on this!

Hey man,

I had the same problem, i have some large tattoos aswell.

At first i was covering them up, i also thought people would have a false assumption of me. Then i started to wear some normal tees, the tattoos are visible then. People started to notice them, and everybody thinks they're great. I'm challenged more than once to take off my shirt so girls can take pictures of it. :D

My advice to you, dress like you want to. If the weather is nice, grab a tanktop or any other shortsleeve witch you like. When it is cold outside, just wear a longsleeve or so.

I hope this will help.

Hey Ink, i got a buddy who is all tatt'd up and a certain type of chick really digs it.

So your displaying them will depend on a few things.

-The type of girl you want
-The venue
-Your style

If the type of chick you like would either really dig the tatt, or at least be mildly intrested by it (most chicks) you should at least give them a small taste. They dont have to see all of them, just know that you have em either by a small comment or by seeing part of one.

Secondly is the venue, why? Because some venues are nicer then others. If you goto the type of place that allows sleeveless shirts and you really wana show your tatt's off, by all means do sleevless if its your style and your comfortable.

If the venue is a nicer place and your wearing long sleeve shirts, roll the sleeves to the elbow (so they rest on your forearm right before the elbow). This will allow you to stay apropriate dress wise and still show your foream/wrist tatt's. (i would preffer this method, but its upto you).

Lastly your style. Now idk how you dress but if you dress like a biker, and have a bunch of tatt's...no one is gonna think its odd that your sleevless. If its 100 degrees and everyone is sleeveless and so are you no one is gonna think anything of it.

If your more dressy and like button up shirts and are clean cut and such and all the sudden you roll into a similar place and your wearing sleeveless shirts instead...your gonna come accross as odd in a bad way.

However if you dress nice, and simply roll the sleeves a bit it will come accross as stylish, casual, relaxed, and not try hard (in regards to your tatt's).

The tattoo's are a great way to peacock, as long as your not flaunting it in someones face. It will lead to a certain type comming to you, and for other targets might make them comment and allow you to DHV about them since they asked.

Personally id do whatever is congruent with your style, the chicks you like, and the venues you goto.

I get a lot of comments on my tats when they are visible. I have a bunch of short sleeved shirts and a shirt that looks good with the sleeves rolled up, but make sure that it looks good and not like your entire focus was showing them off.

I don't have any tattoos, however, my opinion is this: Like most everything in life, use a little tact. I think that if you have a tat on your upper arm, and it's somewhat visible if you're wearing a short sleeve shirt, that's enough.

One of the guys I work with had a rosary tattoo on his upper arm and the cross hangs just below the end of the sleeve, he gets plenty of attention for it.

I kind of equate the manner of showing your tattoos off to speaking. If you are screaming, people will listen because they have no choice, on the other hand, if you speak in a calm, relaxed tone, people listen because they want to. Be a little subtle, have some class, it goes a long way. I'm not saying that you should cover them up all together, but don't be that guy who decides that he's going to take his shirt off and walk around because he just got his back piece done. If she notices some of the tattoo, great, but she'll have to earn the right to see the rest of it.

PS: Anyone in the NYC area, a very good friend of mine owns a tattoo shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She does AWESOME work. If you want the shop's information, PM me, I'll give you her website and blog address. She's got photos of her work up on both, you can judge for yourself.

Some good opinions. This is definitely one of the areas that I have trouble with. Generaly Im very good with women but beung able to judge my image and how I am percieved by others I really struggle and project my stuff onto what I believe others think. Typical example is I generally look down on young people with tats and assume they are a dick even though I am young and have them so really dont calibrate well. Appreciate your opinions.

BTW - I NEVER get my back out. I did early on but feel like a total tool so stopped doing it.

The right tattoo can get an amazing response from women.

I have a labret, and I get a lot of comments on it. It gives me a chance to ask questions. "So, do *you* have any piercings or tattoos?" Usually they'll either say

"Yes, here and there"

or

"No, but I want one."

At this point they either ask me if I have any tattoos, or I tell them about the tattoo I have on my ass. I have leviticus 19:28 tattooed to my left butt-cheek. Usually they're in shock, but still think it's cool as hell and usually want to see it. I've lost count of the amount of people I've exposed my ass to in public.

Next weekend I'm getting "Alethos Anesti" tattooed right on my pubic line. The greek orthodox church says this during their Easter services. It means "he is risen indeed!"

But asking a girl about her tattoos and what they mean to her is a great way to start a deep conversation and skip all the fucking fluff. "I noticed your tattoos...what do they mean to you?"

The opinion on tats..here we go..

You know when it's appropriate to cover-up those artsy things, but you know when to show them off.

Okay, if you are going sarging, I would definitely just be comfortable in whatever you chose to wear regardless the tats. Hmm, by applying the fact that you have tats, I would use it as an opener or fluff talk..What have you..ya know. I understand some ladies don't like tats, so either they'd get over it or you just move on.

A tattoo is a marking made by indelible ink into the dermis layer of the skin. It is a type of decoration which made for the modification of the body.Girls made this tattoo on their arms and back, and wear sleeveless shirts to show their decoration.

Tattoos seem to be very popular with women in general at the moment. I'm not a big fan personally, so I've never had one done. Getting a tattoo done is a big decision, and should be based solely on whether or not the person getting it done likes it, not whether or not it will improve his chances with women.

I also don't like the idea that someone might be interested in me just because I have nice tattoos.

tattoo or not, no tank tops unless you have good mass and definition in your shoulders/arms.
