I still don't know how to do this. I can easily open in the transit, library, anywhere where people are not constantly moving but i suck at opening in the mall. I usually get blown out. Can someone help me? I use natural/situational openers where I usually just comment on something. It's usually not direct but i still get blown out (kinda weird). I can open in grocery stores or slower paced places but I almost always get blown out by moving targets.

u have to learn how to stop people with intent, meaning the way you say "excuse me" or "hey" has a big impact on wheter they stop or keep going

if you talk liek you have something to say, most people will listen

I do; i have close to no approach anxiety since i have done enough approaches and i feel extremely confident now. I approached a girl today with "are you in the army?" because she was wearing camouflage pants; opener may have been a bit cheesy but i rely on completely natural game. When i was walking towards her (she was kind of looking in my direction) she didn't even give me eye contact and the did a backturn. I dont really care about what she did but i think it was because i kinda approached her head on instead of from the side.

You should not have eye contact with her first before you talk to her, use your peripheral vision to see where she is and walk in front of her and then only look at her (pretending like you just found her), say Hi to her...

This way it will look more natural and you will look more effortless, which is what are powerful man does.

If she gets you to go all the way to meet her, it will apppear to her that you look weak or like you have been doing this a lot and she's just one of the girls you approach.

That's social savvy. You will found out more of this by yourself when you get more in field experience and analyze every social situation of your appraoch.

Yep thats probably it. I dont know why i got a gut feeling that even before the approach, as soon as i held i contact and approached head on, i knew it was gonna go down hill. I'm going to try approaching from the side more often.
