Hey guys so I went to a bar last night with my wing man (doesn't really know the game at all). Anyway, we open these two HBs he talks to the hb9 I talk to the hb5 just to show I don't really care about the 9 in the beginning. And bam, the Hb9 gets all over my nuts. I talk to her for a lil bit, she completely ignores everyone, I exchange some banter and some teasing and she say's I'm the most amazing guy she's ever met.
At this point, I think I'm set. So we all sit down, and I'm talking to the 9 really vibing off eachother. Then my wingman starts to talk to the 9 because apparently she's filthy rich and her dad owns a wine company that he knows about. So he goes on for like 10 mins about how much he loves her dad and respects him. After that she just went to the bathroom with her friend, and all attraction with me was completely gone. And she left. I was dumbfounded LOL. Do you guys think my wingman totally fucked that up for me? Or could I have done something else wrong.

From what it sounds like it was your wingman getting between you and the girl but it's done now... time to set some guidelines ?

yeah he ruined it. he took the focus off of you in her mind.

even though your wing messed up, you still could have been on top of it. your wing was the equivalent to the "we got to go girl", the cockblock, the amog, etc. you will frequently encounter unforeseen circumstances of people who come out of left field to throw a wench in your game when it's going smooth. what you could have done in this situation is simply cut your wing off and isolate the woman. then go for kino and kissing. also you could have tried to number close asap. that way you would have at least had a way of reconnecting if something went wrong.

in conclusion, yes your wing messed up. it's your fault for not being able to improvise and take control of the situation. that's a huge part of gaming.
