I usually go with a simple push pull opener with an assumption and then i go on to open ended questions. Most of the conversation is her talking about herself and me asking open ended questions with a few teases and maybe a little sprinkle of my life in DHVs which can also help her connect with me.

Will this style of game work if my body language is somewhat decent? I was wondering because I tried this out and a girl ended up trying to tease me (took it as an IOI) and she was talking non stop. Given that you're not going in for the kill (F close), I'm assuming, since you say you're not trying to initiate kino and all. Once you got her talking, cut her off and tell her to pick the convo up another time (get the digits) and/or set up a date.
