So I met this girl on the train about 6 days ago. We texted quite a bit as I was out of town for the weekend and wasn't available to meet up until tomorrow. I think I may have screwed this one up on the very last text before the meet-up. There is no way I can post the entire conversation but she was returning my IOI's and responding within 10 minutes of each text. I'll start from 3 days ago I guess:
her: Ahha! Sweet dreams ;p
me: Likewise! Try your best not to dream of me all night :p
her: Ahha it'll be hard but I'll try!
More random stupid texts, she was a little bit shy with anything bridging sexual so I kept that business low and sparse. She invited me to her open mic night (where she is performing her songs)
me: hi country star
What time does this open mic tomorrow get underway? I'll try my best not to make you too nervous
her: Ahha hey, I believe it starts at 8! It changes every week but I'm pretty sure it's at 8 ahha. How was work? I'll be nervous no matter what but more so with you there!
me (responding quite late): Just walked out! It's always busy which is better than being bored I guess :p. How w about your day?
her: Ahha true it is better to be busy than bored! Plus time flys by faster when your busy!! And it was good! Had a lot of errands to run ahha.
me: Well to be honest that doesn't sound fun at all aha. Anyways I'm just heading out to a rehearsal. I'll see you tomorrow at 8
And that my friends is where the line went flat. She actually reponds within a couple of minutes almost to a T. It's been a couple of hours. Should I even be expecting a response to that? One thought is we texted wayy more than I usually would before a day 2. I'm worried the smiley face made it seem too, I don't know... eager? Like something you would text a girlfriend or something. I just don't want to bother showing up tomorrow if she's not going to be there. Just not sure if her not replying to that is even an issue.
