Ok so I've been chatting with two of my female friends, and apparently one of them got invited for drinks by a classmate of theirs who has a girlfriend in town, she felt really guilty cuz it was pretty obvious he wanted to sleep with her and she was talking to us about it..Now I'm never with cheating with someone and when I said that it fucking made me the nice guy and they were like "I wish guys are like you and such"..Is it really bad to think that cheating is unjustified? Did it seem like an AFC move? I don't intend to have anything happen with these two, but I'm asking in general..should I consider cheating to be an ok thing??? cuz honestly it seems like assholes are getting away with it and getting laid more than people with moral standards..please tell me what you think, cheers

I feel like most people will say cheating is bad in a social setting. In that instance you would have gotten a much better reaction saying its bad then if you woulda said, "cheating is perfectly fine! I do it all the time!"

I'm not asking if cheating is bad, i know it is, I was just surprised that they were openly justifying why would they cheat " relationship problems, wont see them again, traveling soon..ect" and I was the only one who had a different idea and that its always wrong no need to justify it..does saying that makes you come out as "the nice guy" ? that was my question

You're overthinking and overanalysing the "does this make me the nice guy or not?". It is completely respectable to not be ok with cheating, and simply expressing that opinion to someone isn't going to suddenly make you an AFC.
