I've been dating this girl for about 4 months now, on Thursday we went to the cinema and hung out for a bit afterwards.

I had to get up early Friday morning and her mum was driving through so she got picked up and I went home. Anyway, about 5 minutes after I got in she texts me telling me to come outside. When I did she was out of breath, flustered and panicking slightly (she'd just an about half a mile from where the cinema is to mine) and then blurted out "I'm in love with you". It was basically like something out of a movie, except not at an airport.

I kissed her, grabbed her hand and tried to lead her into my house but she said her mum was waiting for her in the car so she couldn't come in. I walked her back to the carpark and we pretty much decided we'd be together officially.

I really like this girl, and I'm probably over thinking everything, but we haven't actually slept together yet. We've done stuff, just not full on sex. Is it possible to be in love without sleeping with someone first? She's usually incredibly closed off to the point of emotionless, so for her to say shes in love with me is a pretty big thing for her to do.

Is it mutual?

Seems like the type of girl that wouldn't have sex with someone unless it's her husband lol. I have a bad feeling about this girl however sweet she is.

No, her mum dropped her off at the car park about 1/4 mile from my house, we've only ever walked to my apartment so she didn't know the roads so she had to walk it. Her mum definitely wasn't there haha!

She's texting me right now telling me about the kind of underwear she's buying, so I think sex is definitely on the cards we just haven't gotten around to it, yet. She's staying over Tuesday so it'll happen then.

You ARE overthinking. She sounds like a good girl. And yes she doesn't want to involve sex to make sure you are not going to use her for sex.
If you want a slag then by all means leave her alone and find someone that does not have feelings for you...

honestly, Maria, be honest with me..... would you get into a relationship without finding if you're in sync in the bedroom 1st? good sex is the back bone to a relationship in my opinion.

The feeling is definitely mutual, i'm crazy about this girl. I've just read so many people on this forum say things like "If you're not having sex with her, then she isn't going to be into you" that it's kinda got stuck into my head, hence this post.

A woman that has regularly sex with no commitment is a slag.
I was in lots of relationships that I was not in sync with someone in bed.
When a woman has feelings about someone it is unlikely she won't like him in bed. He must be the exception to the rule on how bad in bed he must be..
Also the older you get the less important is sex. As a 20 year old if my bf was not good in bed I would be looking to move to the next guy... but as a 32 year old an average guy in bed that could be a good husband and is willing to commit and have kids... I would be more than satisfied.
In looks I am average... I'm a 7-8. I guess most women at my age that want to have a family must be thinking the same way.

Sure, sex doesn't matter. But at the same time, you can factor that into her personality - that she's either a bit of a prude, extremely obedient to her parents' curfews or naive with her 'ideals' in a relationship (or a combination of those), none of which are particularly bad, but all of which are barriers you'll have to work around if you want to make the most of it.

If you're willing to work around it, you'd better be willing to put in a fair bit of work.

Calling someone a slag just because they choose to have multiple sexual partners automatically makes you wrong, in my opinion. It's a negative word.

You can have multiple sexual partners but have them as bfs. Sleeping around with strangers is dangerous for STDs and other reasons too.
Commitment and polyamory can go hand in hand.
Men can be slags too.
