Can you approach and hold a regular conversation without losing your shit? The first and, in my opinion, ONLY "dhv" you need to concern yourself with is being cool and relaxed.

How to transition?
1. No Transition. Yep, just start talking about something new, it is the best way.
2. Make an Observation. Notice something about her or the venue.
3. Cold Read. Toss out a cold read.
Those are the top three ways to transition in my opinion.
In practice, just learn to hold a conversation. That is where everything you read on plowing comes into play. Just keep talking.
