I find myself in a weird cycle with this girl, where everything is going great and then I do something to step up our whatever it is we are having and she suddenly shifts the mood, goes cold on me and then after a day or two, it's all cool again. One thing is that when I notice she freaked out over smth I back down, I don't force things and I don't initiate contact.. I just wait for her to cool down and everything eventually, usually after a couple of days, goes back to normal. And that is how we escalate constantly...

The last time this happened was yesterday when we kissed for the first time, we held hands etc for most of the night and then in the morning she goes cold on me. Like she freaked out or something. Or fucked me off, I really cannot tell, I was surprised as fuck. And I don't know how to react. I don't wanna be too pushy, I don't wanna be to distant.. So I don't know what to do? Do you have any idea how to break out of this cycle so things can finally go to normal... Because it's obvious we like each other.

Keep in mind she's pretty awkward when it comes to socializing and doesn't have almost any experience with guys.

However, I've sort of dealt with -kinda- similar circumstances. Inexperienced girls, anyway. But her 'going cold' on you for it and shit is just a little too much. I wonder, how old the both of you are? I wouldn't expect this behavior from any girl 21 or older.

I'd say either ditch her and find a new one if it's going to be like that. Or just give her subtle, indirect ultimatum. Don't flat out be like "Hey, you need to chill the fuck out or I'm going to next your ass"... But if you want to go further with her, you'll have to be a little creative, all the while make her feel comfortable. Personally I would probably move on at this point in my life. I can't give you definite advice of what to do, but you'll have to talk to her about it one way or another, just don't be her fucking therapist.

Sometimes it can be fun to break a girl out of her shell, but only if she's at least partially on board and doesn't require too much effort. Don't go out of your way dealing with a socially damaged/inept girl that doesn't want to change for the better. Don't take offense, but I think there's the possibility you were friendzoned this girl a little first? Or she flat out has very bad social and relationship (of any kind) issues. When I've encountered girls of somewhat of that nature, once I got them sprung, it was pretty much downhill from there.
