I dont know where I saw this, maybe here, maybe in a movie.

This is sort of a qualifier. The guy says something outrageous. at first the girl doesn't believe him. but the guy sticks to his story and continues on. The girl finally believes him. Then the guy reveals it's all a joke and kind of implies to the girl "I cant believe you are so naive. did you really believe that?" to qualify her.

I will give you an example to clarify. The girl says "what kind of work do you do?"
the guy says "____"
the girl says "no, for real"
the guy says "I am serious. I wake up every morning, _____. blah blah"
the guy goes on with his story for 5 minutes or so, describing all the details. The details are just as absurd. The girl believes him.
Then the guy implies "lol. did you really believe that?"

again, I look at this as a qualifier because the girl will feel stupid and try to qualify herself.

Does anyone know what i am talking about?

can you give me some examples of stories that I could use? I cant come up with anything on my own.

That is not a qualifier. It is a tease - you are making fun of her for believing your fake story.

Qualification is something like are you fun, can you cook .. etc

You know what I can't believe?. That you can't come up with anything for this routine!

That other guys right, this isn't a qualifier, but I would use qualifiers as an insert for this bit. Just say whatever you think might impress her...
hey I have a sweet motorcycle at home ;p
You ever seen someone with a real bar in there basement (then invite her back home and say you sold it)
I used to teach kids how to swim at the YMCA, (yeah.... I just tossed my little brother in the pool lots)
or come back with drinks, "I know the bartender, so the drinks are free here."...

These are just some I thought off the top of m head, but again thanks man I will be using this in the future!
