| I'm apologizing for the length of this post in advance, that said, let's begin. So there is this really hot little blonde at work who is my friend and I've been knowing her since she was married, she's divorced now.
I've been trying some of this stuff I am reading about on this forum on her, mainly kino and trying to build tension and body language. Simply because she's hot and I figure if I can do it with her and not get super AA then it's a good thing, I looked at it as training, not thinking that it would lead to anything and just basically not giving a fu*k because I never thought it would go anywhere.
Last week I helped show her how to do something, something that was very simple that I knew she knew how to do. She's super smart, just graduated college and is going to law school next. During the interaction our bodies got pretty close, our hands touched a few times and there were times when there was just this sort of tension in the air, but that's all, we were at work. I texted her about it(the thing, not the tension) during the weekend and she texted back, I teased her a bit, it was good.
Monday she comes into work and I had my headphones on so I didn't notice her come into my cubicle. She put her hands on my shoulders and kinda beat out a little drum sequence then stood to my left. She actually startled me. I took my head phones off and she was just kinda standing there not saying anything. Then she saw this flier I had picked up for a car show at a drive in and started asking me about. I told her I was gonna go but decided to watch the Mayweather vs Maidana fight instead. So this post isn't longer than necessary, basically we talked about the car show and then she just kind of left.
Today I go into her cubicle sit down and say "I have a two part question for you, If I were to ask you out on a date, to let's say, go have dinner (pause) versus a lunch date, which would you feel more comfortable about?"
She goes, "(My name), is there something you want to ask me?" and then starts doing this weird fake laugh like she's laughing extra hard to make it look like she doesn't want me to think she's serious but I halfway thought she was because of her reaction, but doesn't look at me, just laughs while looking at her computer. I didn't say anything for about 2 seconds and then said " You're smart, and you're hot, but no I'm not hitting on you." She then gets kinda serious and tells me what she thinks about dinner vs lunch date.
I said ok, cool then I'll ask her out on a lunch date. I told her thanks, got up and started walking away. She was like wait, so I stopped and turned around. She asked me if she knew the girl with this suspicious look on her face, I said no, then she asked if she works with us, I said no I know her from the gym. then she was like well you gotta be careful because the thing about a dinner date is she might think....then she just looked like she froze or something and just stared at me like she forgot what she was going to say, so I said Im not worried about that because she approached me, but what were you going to say? She just slowly turned around back to her computer with this look I can only describe as the face Arnold made in Total Recall when he took the mask off, but obviously in a much more beautiful way because she's super hot. I sat back down to hear her out but she just went silent and clammed up. I changed the subject and we talked a bit more but she just seemed out of it. The rest of the day she was kind of distant and not her usual smiley happy self with me.
WTF did I do??? What's going on here, I'm lost.
