Usually if a girl gives you her number from the site it means she's open to meeting you and you can just use a generic conversation leading to a meetup. I wouldn't stress over it too much. But one thing I like to do is not identify myself with the first message. When they ask who you are, say "that hot guy from PoF" or something. If they still have no idea, you can rest assured they're giving out their number like candy.

I usually Text "Hey (Her Name), this is the hot guy (Your Name) from (insert site name), this is a very important number so be sure to store it with care :)

Most of the time I get "Hey, How are you?" and then you proceed....

Seriously? Were'nt you having a conversation on FB? So just continue the conversation via text. Although I have F closed a chick from FaceBook, and I didn't even get her number till after I did (I had met her in person prior though). Not recommended, but it depends on how good the particular chick is at responding to messages, having FB messenger on your phone is just as good as texting IMO.

I usually use, "hey goofball! I've gotta <insert false time restraint>! Just wanted you to have my number too."

Then I'll either wait for them to text me. Or I'll text them back again in an hour so..

If they ask, "who is this?" Don't be AFC and say, "bob from PoF".

I usually use one of the following:
1) Most women call me Superman.

2) Three guesses! Go!

I usually call first.


If I do text I reference the conversation. For example my username indicates that I'm friends with Cupid, the demi-god or whatever. I usually say "hey, this is cupid's homeboy".
