just want to ask a few questions about the pick up tv show keys to the vip

1. those guys on the show makes pickup looks so easy. i know some of the contestants do have game. but most of the stuff they do is pretty afc. they usually open by really simple complements. almost all of them try to get girls drinks. and they beg for numbers! what surprise me is that they do get results. okay phone numbers could be just flake. but these guys get kiss close and some of them can bring girls back home for a SNL without much effort.

here comes the question, does it depend on the girl/luck? do girls live in different states/country respond differently to pickup? i am not sure if it's my limiting belief. Or a lot of men's limiting belief. some of us tend to think girls living in our own state/country are harder to approach. i live in the uk. people always tell me girls are easier to talk to in america, because there are more abundance of good looking girls in the states. guys could just NEXT them if they play hard to get. i really want to make sure it is not my limiting belief.

2. it's usually very hard to talk in a club because it is noisy. i can only hold a very simple conversation. it's impossible to run the cube in a noisy club. it seems to me that the clubs in the show are less noisy. it could be just my misperception i dunno.

i think i have hit a sticking point. i usually try direct game on the dancefloor. it's easier to open by using direct method in a noisy environment. but girls lost interest very quickly once i started complimenting them.

i do talk to girls in the smoking area, but the better looking ones are usually more abundant on the dance floor. i like using traditional mystery method in the smoking area. i stay in the set longer by using MM. but the conversation can lead to nowhere. and i seldom force myself to get a no. if the girl doesn't seem to be interested.

for guys with consistence results, please give me some advices

p.s. i know nobody uses MM anymore. my way of pickup still has the structure of MM (opening -->DHV-->no.close/k close). i seldom use canned materials. i use my personal stories as DHVs. if the girl responds to my DHVs and kinos, i would just go for the kiss i wouldn't even go for the number.

Dont believe everything you see on tv. Although it looks very real, you can tell that these people are just actors. Ive seen episodes where a guy uses total afc lines and still gets to close. There was a time a guy walked up to a girl and said "your hair doesnt match your face" if that was real life he would have gotten smacked or the cold shoulder. What i do take from that show is some of the lines, and the body language they use

how much acting do you think there is in the show? by the way, do you think the 4 hosts in the show have game? they never show us how good they are in the field. some of their comments on the contestants are not very accurate. it's just my pure guess, i think sheldon has the best game among the 4 of them. he is the most modest one.

I thought the show was very entertaining

I don't think it was overly rigged

It did show if a guy is good looking enough and has a good enough physique and has that natural alpha aura, that in the superficial world of nightclubs, they can get laid with very little game

yea i think the show is interesting as well. i have finished watching 8 to 9 episodes so far. this guy named pat has good game. he is decent looking as well. but he still has to face rejection. some of the other contestants has less game but somehow managed to kiss close. i think sometimes it just depends on the girl/luck.

I like the show...I've the first 3 seasons on my laptop and watch them often at they're entertaining but yeah I agree in terms of game, only a handful actually had tight game... I remember Josh, a jock type, he bossed it. I can go into any club and get 10-15 numbers a night but to me that is not game. Girls go to clubs to be fucked that night, not to be called the following day to meet up... I only respect the guys in that show who got a makeout and that was barely a handful.

There was also controversy over a dude who made out with a girl and took her home...turns out they knew each other and it was prearranged...

Still though, great show...very entertaining and has some good insight for new guys and dudes who strictly do day 2 sorta dating...not for me as I'm 19...

i don't like going for numbers in clubs as well. i prefer to "seal the deal" as soon as possible. one thing i just realized, the challenges were actually invented by 2 of the judges. so they have successfully completed the challenges before. i couldn't say they have no game now lol.

its easy to get numbers in social places like the ones in the show. But there are many things I've noticed about the contestants that get numbers:
They either have skills or they have looks, but most of them have looks, very few have both.
Many of those numbers are fake and if not, they are flakes. I can tell you this because they have not built any type of connection with the girl, since they are pressured to get it quickly.
In a night club, if you ask 10 girls for their number and you havent creeped her out, half of them will give it to you. Again, theres a very high chance they will be fake numbers or they just will not get back to you.
Those guys have approached a lot more girls than what you see, the show only airs the most entertaining approaches.

They have had some legit contestants there but most of them are just lame meatheads

i agree with everything you've written. those numbers have to be flakes. most contestants have only spoken with their targets for less than 5 minutes. some girls could just give out numbers to get rid of guys.
This. i reckon they have face numerous rejections by approaching with simple complements. But as you said, the show only airs the more interesting approaches to boost ratings.
