What are the best ways to put one into a trance state? I'm having a hard time putting myself into a trance state for self-hypnosis, and for some reason I'm able to resist suggestions- they don't seem to work on me. What can I do?

trance state is anytime your conscious mind is shut down, about self hypnosis i don't think it's possible.
what suggestion you use and why you think you need to be aware of their work?

Different people have different affinity to hypnosis. Some people can't get into very deep trance and some people get into deep trance very easily. In order to perform self hypnosis you must be in the high affinity cathegory, otherwise it will be outright impossible.
