The reason why I wish to get away from canned openers is because lately a lot of women I met had already heard these lines before, one even asked me if I had read the Game...

The opener isn't all that important anyway. As for situational openers just say whatever comes to mind. Comment on her outfit or the venue or the music. But if nothing comes to mind, "Hey, I'm..." works really well. And remember, in pick up the delivery is always more important than the content.
