While out sarging, I approached a girl and used direct method, and number-closed. She wasn't available at the time for an instant date. We've been texting each other a fair bit over the last few days (probably a mistake I made, to have these long convos before we go for a date).

First night when we were texting, and I suggested we meet up, she suggested a Chinese place she knows that does dumplings. Cheap and casual. We didn't organise a time and date to meet.

When I texted her earlier today, I said 'so when are you free this week for our dumpling date?'
She wants to meet, but said she wouldn't consider it a date, as she's in a complicated situation now and doesn't want to date SPAM.

What are some things I should do in this 'meet-up' to let her know I still have my original intentions, but that I don't want to seem too pushy because of her 'complicated situation.' Basically, when she's ready to date again, I want her to remember this meetup and know that I had no intentions of being just a friend from the start.
