Her: Watching FGump and doing my taxes...I procrastinated.

Me: You should procrastinate some more and come out downtown. I'm doing mine tomorrow.

Her: I don't go out very much...especially not during the week. Have fun though!

Me:You'll be missing out on a terrible karoke performance, but you'll live. Are you free this weekend?

Her: I'll be home for Easter.

Me: Good luck with the Easter egg hunt. Lets grab a drink next weekend when you get back.

She never responded after that..What am I doing now?

You probably move on. She sounds uninterested.

You may not know this girl well enough to have gone for it like this (but you don't say how well you know her)... Regardless, no harm in it. You can always try again after Easter -- but pick up the phone next time.

Yeah I agree. Just try again after Easter. Meanwhile, you could hit up some other girls, and next time you're asking for a date, call instead of text. Your voice carries power, and you'd be a fool to not utilize it.
