Actually it depends on. In your primary face-to-face interaction you need to develop enough attraction with her. Only then you should play hard to get. I am always engaged and interested on the surface (just the way you are supposed to in social environments), but as the girl starts digging, she will realize that there may be nothing there after all, unless she tries harder.
