Hi guys, in most of videos i've seen on youtube in which pua's members talk about being yourself for attracting women, i don't understand why to be yourself if, in this way, we continue to make the same failures...could you explain this concept? In what sense " just be yourself"?

It means to be a better version of yourself. Like a "You 2.0".

Personally, I believe game is 20% of your sucess factors. The other 80% is you. If you go "by the book" doing what Pick-Up experts say I almost guarantee it will not work, because you are using what someone else developed to fit their own style and personality.

For exemple, if I were a PUA coach (which I am not, nor do I intend to be) I would teach you the virtues of a tailor made suit, a nicely done tie knot, knowing your wines and gourmet ciusine, and other facets of a general "James Bond" style. It is what fits my style and personality. I "work" almost exclisively in day game settings and quite often started in the dreaded friendzone. It is what works for me. Other guys would teach you how to dress trendy, aproach targets at a club and be very direct. I could never do that, the same way they would have an hard time doing what I do.

That is the 80% of being yourself. Then use game to polish some rough edges. A girl is not showing much interest and then texts you? You don't have to change your entire mindset to answer a text. Be yourself. Answer what you would usually answer in that situation. But take a while to answer and start with "sorry, I was in the shower", now she is imagining you naked. Or answer only after a few hours starting with "sorry for the delay, I was out with a friend", now you have planted a seed. Is that friend a girl? Is it a guy and you were both out meeting girls? Has she waited too long and you lost interest?

That is how you use game. Not to change yourself, but to improve yourself. See the diference?
