Story time:

Background - only know this girl because she's in a club with me, we talked once or twice before the following events

Asked girl to prom, super cute and whatnot, she says yes. Later she posts on her twitter how amazing it was. I don't talk to her again for a couple of days because school. Text her during the night about prom stuff, limo after party etc. Friday night we go to a party of mutual friends and hang out. Talk to her about hanging over spring break because we've never had any 1 on 1 time, but she says shes gone all break. Proceed to text her after I leave asking when she's leaving. No response. Hit her up on facebook maybe two hours later because I see shes on. No response, probably asleep because it says seen by in the morning. Message her once more the next day saying to check in. No response. Been leaving her alone for a while and its been 2 days. I've heard nothing back.

I definitely think too much interest was shown. I usually try not to text back after not being responded to.

One other thing is something about "windows closing" that I've read about.

It's about how girls start to lose interest after not being contacted with for a while.

What probably happened is that if she was somewhat attracted to you after prom, and you didn't speak for a while after because of school, her attraction was being lost. Maybe you guys would agree but the rule of thumb that I use would be to have come communication within 3 days (text, Facebook, whatever) and then do something in person within 10.

Obviously, if you are a master at the game, this won't apply.
