Dear fellow PUAs and AFCs,

What are your opinions? I recently placed the Ultimatum card which essentially says, we can't be just friends. It is quite destructive however and I want to know from your experiences how to better deflect a friendship if you're still attracted to the HB without completely destroying the current relationship?

"I have enough friends."

The friend line is usually a shit test. You don't reply with an ultimatum. You just throw it out that you're not interesting in being friends, not telling her "You're either leaving things open or we're done." It's something you passively say to her in response with no hint of an ultimatum.

Perfect example is when a chick first says something like "We'll be friends and can visit each other." You jokingly say "I have enough friends/I don't want anymore friends." then change subject. What you're doing with that is basically leaving everything open and informing her you're not going to be placed in the friend zone. Unconsciously she takes note of this and will be more susceptible to being closed whenever you meet up. There won't be any of this shit she'll fall back on when you go to close her where she says "But we're friends..." If she does you can just say "I told you, I have enough friends" then go and kiss her anyway.

As soon as you agree to be friends with a girl you put yourself in the friend zone. Don't ever do that. If you give her an ultimatum she's only going to have one answer for you: "I'm sorry." She just rejects the ultimatum. The only time an ultimatum works is if you have her hooked and reeled in where she's obsessed with you and even at that ultimatums are the absolute worst thing you could ever use in any situation save for when a chick does something she shouldn't be doing and you're fully prepared to walk away if she doesn't stop.
